Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in El Paso, Texas. This contract role spans 13 weeks, offering night shifts with on-call requirements. The selected candidate will provide specialized neonatal care within a Level 3 NICU, supporting a staff of experienced professionals in a well-equipped environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: El Paso, Texas
  • Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours each, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/10/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, NRP certification, STABLE certification, minimum 0 years of experience
  • Type of staff: NICU unit with 21 beds, 37 staff members including RN and CNC staff, rotating weekends
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1
  • Equipment includes giraffe warmers, ventilators, bili lights, syringe pumps, and more
  • Typical procedures performed include Lumbar Puncture, PICC line placement, UAC/UVC placement, Exchange Transfusion, Chest tube insertion, and Intubation
  • Dress Code: Scrubs in Galaxy Blue
  • Unit policies are accessible through internal policy platform
