Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Idaho Falls, ID. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU for a 12-week assignment. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Shift Time: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Position Description: The NICU RN will care for infants post-surgery, ventilated patients, and those with devices such as ostomies and Broviac catheters, utilizing skills with equipment including oscillator, Drager, NAVA, and BCPAP.
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Stable; 3 years of NICU experience; ability to care for central lines, noninvasive ventilation (NIV), and post-surgical infants.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with invasive ventilation and skills in assisting with surgeries such as GI procedures, central line placement, and chest tube insertion.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
Additional Information: Must communicate effectively with parents, be adaptable to unit policies, and follow dress code in navy blue scrubs. No on-call duties required.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all listed qualifications and be available to start on 10/05/2026 through 01/04/2027.
