Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current NRP certification required
• At least 1 year of NICU nursing experience required
• 2 years or more of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
• STABLE certification and NIC-RNC preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
• Administer medications, assess newborns, and support family-centered neonatal care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner
• Float as needed to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only)
• Follow unit policies and maintain a professional, team-oriented presence
