Job Details
Position Description: NICU Nurse working nights from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, current STABLE certification from a recognized course, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NRP certification, and RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in a related nursing specialty or recent practice in a perinatal setting.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Newly hired experienced RNs must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire, with successful completion of organizational entry competency validation and Perinatal Services-specific competency validation required. All annual competency verification requirements must be completed.
Responsibilities: Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses and side effects, document patient information, and educate patients and families.
