Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Austin, Texas. This position involves providing specialized care in a private-room neonatal intensive care setting housed within a new women's tower. The unit supports patients through a charge, resource, patient care technician, and milk technician model, with an average census in the mid-40s to mid-50s. The NICU maintains a no-floating policy outside of the unit, and care is delivered using Cerner electronic medical records.
