Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care to neonates and infants in a high-acuity NICU setting. The position requires adaptability to float to different units within the facility and offers a weekend day shift. Job Details
Shift: Weekend Days, 3A-3P, Friday through Sunday
Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana, ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications, 2 years of NICU level 3 experience, Cerner electronic medical record proficiency
Scope of Role: NICU RN capable of caring for a range of patients from stable feeder-growers to critically ill level 3 patients
Approved Orientation Dates: 2 - 12-hour shifts
Number of Beds in Unit: 40
Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
Scrub Color: Navy blue
Float: Float rotation may be required to other areas within the facility. Does not take assignments in other units.
Travelers Submission: Must attach required license and certifications; driver's license and permanent home address must match ID; travelers must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility
