Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN position in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level 2 NICU setting, with a focus on infant patient care, including baby catch procedures for Cesarean sections. The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts and floating to post-partum units as needed to support optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid New York State RN license, one year of nursing experience, EPIC charting system experience, ability to work in a Level 2 NICU environment caring for infants (33 weeks gestation and above), and capability to baby catch in OR for C-section cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Women's Health services or critical care units, and floating to postpartum units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be outside a 75-mile radius of the facility. Must not have more than 10 days of RTO or jobs in the system. Modules are billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours, with hours completed pre-start and recorded via facility report.
