Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Days - Location: Unknown. This position involves caring for newborns with complex medical needs in a Level IV/surgical NICU environment. The role requires providing specialized neonatal care, including managing patients with diagnoses such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, and pulmonary hypertension, among others.
Job Details
Certifications: Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years' NICU experience.
Location Requirements: Must be licensed to practice in the state; details not specified.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include caring for neonatal patients with complex surgical and medical conditions, including those undergoing pre, peri, and post-operative care.
Must be open to float to other units within the healthcare facility.
Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period.
