Description

American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 1-2 years of NICU experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• . NICU housed on floors 6 and 7 of a Women's Tower, with 84 total beds in a private room model
• Average census ranges from mid 40's to mid 50's
• Unit supported by Charge, Resource, PCT, and Milk Tech staffing model
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Shift schedule is 06:45-19:15
• No floating required outside of the NICU

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• PALS certification required (must be AHA)
• NRP certification required (must be AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• 1-2 years of NICU experience recommended
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
