Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a dynamic teaching hospital setting, with a focus on supporting infants with critical needs within the NICU department.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units, certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and the ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health records and cross-training in obstetrics units to support staffing needs
Additional Information: This department assists in covering holes in obstetric units as well as managing staffing shortages by utilizing cross-trained resources, who are only hired if trained in both areas. The position supports a patient population of neonatal infants requiring intensive care and monitoring.
