• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Schedule Notes: Monday through Friday coverage with required weekend rotation; some float coverage may be needed for infants under 12 months of age
• Unit Type: Level IV NICU
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of total NICU III/IV experience
• At least 1 full year of Level IV NICU experience
• Current BLS and NRP certification (AHA)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with post-op patients, g-tubes, trach/vent management, and invasive/noninvasive ventilation
• Strong experience with high-acuity neonatal care and complex pediatric conditions
• Comfortable working in Epic and participating in float assignments as needed
• Ability to meet unit-based telemetry testing and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neonatal intensive care for critically ill newborns from admission through discharge
• Monitor and manage infants requiring advanced respiratory support and intensive therapies
• Care for patients with surgical, cardiac, neurologic, metabolic, and genetic conditions
• Support infants requiring post-operative care, feeding support, tracheostomy care, and ventilator management
• Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate and support families with compassionate, patient-centered communication
• Float as needed to care for patients under 12 months of age, including other pediatric areas when required
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and healing environment for patients and families
