Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill newborns, including premature infants and those with complex congenital conditions. The position requires experience with Level III or higher NICU patient populations in a Level IV or comparable setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); STABLE certification; at least 2 years of comparable NICU experience in a Level III or higher unit; preferred: Level IV NICU experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level IV intensive care for the sickest newborns with diagnoses ranging from congenital anomalies to respiratory distress syndrome.
  • Additional Information: The candidate must have experience with EPIC electronic medical records. Prior employment at any Johns Hopkins system facility must be noted in work history and verified before an offer is extended. Previous staff or PRN employees of Johns Hopkins facilities must be absent from the facility for at least one year before applying as a traveler.
