ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Alternating Day/Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); Night 3x12-Hour (19:30 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to our neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, with expertise in tracheostomy and ventilator management. This role requires alternating shifts and offers a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support.

Responsibilities

  • Care for patients with conditions such as prematurity, congenital cardiac defects, and feeding issues.
  • Administer medications and manage treatment plans as directed.
  • Provide ventilator management and tracheostomy care for patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform phlebotomy and manage central lines as necessary.
  • Engage in infection prevention and patient safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required.
  • Valid RN license in Maryland or compact state license.
  • Current certifications in BLS and CPI; ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with trach/vent is mandatory.
