Job Details

- Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.)
- Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with rotations including every 3rd weekend, and scheduled holidays outside of requested time off
- Certifications: Wisconsin or compact RN license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- Education: Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a NICU setting (Level III or Level IV), with NICU experience required and Pediatric (PEDS) experience preferred; no minimum experience is specified otherwise
- Bed Capacity: 22-bed NICU unit
- Charting System: EPIC is preferred
- Additional Requirements: Adaptability, resilience, strong work ethic, and social manner are desirable traits; professional scrubs recommended; jewelry limited to a small stud in the nose; no visible body piercings except ear piercings; flesh-colored or clear piercing plugs permitted
- Immunizations: Flu vaccine required without exception; COVID-19 vaccine no longer necessary
- Float: Floating to pediatric units required as census dictates
- Interview Availability: Monday through Friday via manager phone interview or MSP interview
- Notes: Position involves working in a facility with a magnet-recognized hospital, providing specialized neonatal care in a Level III NICU, with a focus on high-quality clinical nursing practice
