Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN in Seattle Supports ground transportation needs for infants and pediatric patients in surrounding hospitals, emergency rooms, and other units, bringing patients to the healthcare facility for a higher level of care. This role involves working closely with the transportation team, including respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers, to ensure safe and effective transfers.

Job Details

• Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN supporting ground transportation
• Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS required
• Required Qualifications: Valid compact license, at least 1 year of relevant experience, experience with ground transportation, proficiency in patient monitoring, airway management, and neonatal pediatric care procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, prior work in NICU, PICU, or Peds units, familiarity with Epic charting system, and experience with external transport teams
• Additional Responsibilities: May float to cover NICU, PICU, or Peds units as needed, assisting with clinical procedures such as arterial line management, ventilator management, and other critical neonatal and pediatric care tasks during transport
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses regarding prior employment at a Providence facility, references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs), and confirmation of valid state license in hand at submission
