Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Seattle. This position supports ground transportation needs for neonatal and pediatric patients, working as part of a specialized team to transport infants and children to higher levels of care within the healthcare organization. The role involves providing bedside care and assisting with patient transfers across various units in the surrounding hospitals.

  • Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Role involves float coverage to NICU, PICU, and other pediatric units
  • Responsibilities include participating in ground transportation of neonatal and pediatric patients, working with RT and advanced practice providers, and managing equipment during transport
  • Additional Qualifications: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, arterial line management, ventilator management, NICU, and Pediatric Transport preferred
  • Orientation Hours: 36 hours
  • Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics
  • Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and transportation teams
  • Travel Compliance: Requires 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years prior to start
