Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, at least 1 year of neonatal intensive care experience, and Virginia state nursing licensure.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or other relevant neonatal specialization certifications.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The role involves working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, following hospital SOPs, and adhering to standards set by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Responsibilities include monitoring neonatal patients using Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), providing life-support interventions per American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
