• Location: Columbus, OH 43205
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Schedule Type: Self-scheduling
• Weekend Requirement: At most, every other weekend
• Float Expectations: May float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, Med-Surg, and other campuses as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of overall Level III/IV NICU experience required
• At least 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand
• BLS and NRP required
• PALS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be comfortable floating to related critical care and pediatric areas
• Must be comfortable caring for complex neonatal patients, including trach care and heavy family involvement
• Two professional references required at submission, including at least one manager or supervisor reference
• Must be eligible for a travel nurse assignment and live outside the local 60-mile radius

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a NICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in condition for critically ill newborns
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
• Support respiratory care, including ventilator management, oxygen delivery, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Assist with lines, tubes, chest tubes, feeds, thermoregulation, phototherapy, and other advanced neonatal interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, family-centered patient care
• Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining excellent clinical standards and patient safety
• Document accurately in Epic and follow all unit-specific protocols and standards
