Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Rochester, New York. This position involves providing specialized care in a Level 2 NICU, focusing on womens health services rather than critical care. The RN will work a rotating shift schedule of four 12-hour days and nights, with potential floating to postpartum units for baby care.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: 4x12 hours, day/night rotation, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: NY state license in hand; minimum of 1 year of NICU experience; EPIC charting system experience; must be more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted); experience with baby catch in OR for C-section cases; ability to bill for up to 5 hours on modules, with a maximum of 10 hours total; modules completed pre-start, recorded via facility report; background policy reviewed on a case-by-case basis; return staff policy of 1 year.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 2 NICU setting, capable of float to postpartum units, and familiarity with neonatal special procedures and equipment.
  • Additional Information: The assignment begins on 08/25/2026 for an initial 13-week contract, with potential extension. Candidates will need to adhere to the specified policies regarding time in system and RTO limitations.
