Description

American Traveler is seeking a NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department within a hospital setting
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patient population
• Night shift schedule from 6:00p-6:00a
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the relevant specialty
• Active RRT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification (Advanced 9th Edition) required for staff caring for neonates
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy care to critically ill neonatal patients in the NICU
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, local candidates will not be considered
