Job Title

Seasonal Contract RN – Level 3/4 NICU (13-Week Assignment, Days)

Contract | Seasonal | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level 3/4 NICU environment with a patient ratio of 3–4 patients per RN
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
  • Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic medical record systems
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting primarily of RNs and unit clerks across day and night shifts on a 97-bed unit
  • Adhere to strict unit guidelines including dress code and infection control policies

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to comply with unit dress code: navy scrubs, no nail polish or artificial nails

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience (non-first-time travelers preferred)
  • Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate bedside manner well-suited to a collaborative NICU team environment
