ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Westwood, New Jersey.

Level II NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position for night shifts, following a 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Level II NICU team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to neonates, ensuring the highest quality of nursing care and patient support.

Responsibilities

  • Administer care to neonates requiring Level II NICU services.
  • Utilize clinical skills in areas such as thermoregulation, IV maintenance, and respiratory support.
  • Monitor patient conditions and make assessments for care adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide patient and family teaching regarding care and treatment plans.
  • Participate in high-risk deliveries and manage neonatal emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level II NICU setting preferred.
  • Travel nursing experience is preferred.
  • Current certifications: BLS, NRP or NRP Advanced, and STABLE.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
