Unit Highlights
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This unit plays a crucial role in caring for our most vulnerable patients.
General Information
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Details: 7 PM to 7 AM
Call Requirements: No
Unit Specifics
Number of Beds: 7
Patient Ratios: 2:3
Type of Equipment: BCPAP, HFNC
Documentation System: Meditech, CPN
Scheduling Requirements: Self Scheduling
Floating Policy: As needed
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of hospital/specialty experience
Experience in a Level III NICU
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Able to attend deliveries, including C-sections
Preferred Skills:
Team player
Experience with Meditech preferred
Licensure: Active RN license in Texas required; temporary licenses will not be accepted.
Dress Code
Scrub Color: Royal blue and/or white scrubs
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gels, etc.
Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Hair must be tied back if shoulder length or longer.
Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible.
Piercings: Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
Unit Guidelines and Policies
Floating Guidelines: As needed, based on unit requirements.
Attendance Policies: Adherence to the company-wide attendance policy is required.
