**Exciting Opportunity for an ICU Neonatal Nurse (Level 2 NICU)** **Job Description:** * Join a team of compassionate professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care in the Level 2 NICU. * Practice independently while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. * Deliver routine and complex care, focusing on long-range goals and plans for your patients. * Develop your ability to manage and cope with the contingencies of clinical nursing. * Take on responsibilities that include: * Serving as a leader in the competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. * Providing nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. * Addressing the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. * Administering medications and treatments following protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness. * Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. * Assessing learning needs and educating patients, family members, and caregivers. **Job Requirements:** * **Education/Skills:** * Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. * **Experience:** * 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. * **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** * Current STABLE certification required (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants). * Current BLS certification required (AHA only). * Current NRP certification required. * RN License in the state of TX or compact. * **Position Requirements:** * Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. * Receive preceptorship from a designated trained staff member with validated onboarding. * Complete annual competency verification requirements. * **Experience:** * Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a Perinatal Setting is preferred. * **Work Schedule:** * 7PM - 7AM. * **Work Type:** * Full Time. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
