Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Rotating weekends and holidays | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 108-bed NICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4
• Manage care for neonatal patients including premature infants, utilizing equipment such as nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
• Manage central lines and provide respiratory management up to and including care of intubated patients
• Care for trach infants and patients with broviacs as needed
• Float to related units (PICU, Pediatrics, CICU) per unit policy, providing care for patients under 2 years of age

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience
• Experience caring for premature infants 28 weeks gestational age and above
• Proficiency in central line management and respiratory management including intubated patients
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical neonatal patients including cardiac patients
• Experience caring for infants under 27 weeks gestational age
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech
• Experience with trach infants and broviac management
