**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN in NICU!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - NICU - **Shift:** 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM - **Duration:** 6 Weeks **Key Highlights:** - **Experience Requirement:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting - Active RN license required at time of submission - **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 5 (including a negative pressure room) - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:1 for CPAP - 1:2 for most patients - Occasionally 1:3 for feeder growers - **Staffing:** - Two NICU nurses on duty at all times - Tech available for support in women’s services - SmalI unit with close collaboration among labor, postpartum, and NICU teams - **Equipment Used:** - No ventilators (transfer if vented) - Treatment for infants 32 weeks and above - Equipment includes OG's, IVs, Hi Flow, CPAP, PANDA warmers, and Giraffe warmers - **Documentation System:** - CPN - **Scheduling:** - 3 shifts per week - **Floating Policy:** - Primarily work in the NICU with some mother-baby responsibilities - Approximately 50 NICU cases annually - **Patient Experience Focus:** - Press Ganey **Hiring Profile:** - **Skills Required:** - Proficient in caring for CPAP babies - Ability to perform UVCs and start IVs - Experience with surfectant administration - **Certifications Required:** - NRP - STABLE - CPR - **Dress Code:** - Wine colored scrubs (some provided on the unit) **Why You Should Join Us:** - Delivery of 30-40 babies monthly - Supportive environment with a team that works cohesively - Low turnover rates with a culture of nurse satisfaction **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
