Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Patient ratio of 2:1. Block scheduling available upon request. Intermittent weekend coverage required with flexibility to work 3 of 5 major holidays.

Highlights:

• Level III/IV NICU with 77-bed capacity, average census of 50 patients
• Care for high-acuity neonates starting at 23-24 weeks gestation
• Dedicated admit nurse role – travelers typically do not admit babies
• Comprehensive neonatal care including high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, CPAP/BiPap, therapeutic hypothermia, and PICC/central line management
• Attend high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required (Level III or at least 2 years Level IV NICU)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience with blood/blood product administration, central line care, ventilator management, neonatal dosage calculations, and feeding tube placement/management
• Ability to float to nearby campuses as needed (Issaquah, Edmonds SCN, or Pediatrics/NBN for infant care only)
• Must be separated from any affiliated facilities for a minimum of 3 months if previously employed as permanent staff
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
