Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
  • Level III NICU experience required; Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Strong skills in neonatal dosage calculations, central line care, and ventilator management
  • Ability to care for neonates as early as 23-24 weeks gestation
  • Comfortable working in a high-acuity, collaborative neonatal care environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and expert nursing care to critically ill neonates and infants
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, oscillators, and high-frequency ventilation
  • Administer blood and blood products in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Perform and support PICC/central line care, feeding tube management, and syringe pump use
  • Assist with therapeutic cooling and warming interventions
  • Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgical care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Adapt to unit needs and provide flexible support across designated assignments
