• Setting: Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850-$1,950

• Unit Size: 77 beds with an average daily census of 50
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
• Experience in a Level III NICU; Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license in hand; compact licensure accepted
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience caring for neonates as young as 23-24 weeks gestation
• Strong skills with ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency ventilation, oscillators, and neonatal respiratory support
• Proficiency with PICC/central line care, blood product administration, feeding tubes, syringe pumps, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Ability to float to nearby campuses as needed
• Comfort working 2:1 patient ratios
• Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident in a high-acuity NICU environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill neonates and infants in a Level III/IV NICU
• Support respiratory management, medication administration, and ongoing clinical assessment
• Monitor patient condition closely and respond to changes with urgency and strong clinical judgment
• Assist with neonatal surgeries, high-risk deliveries, and complex newborn care
• Provide care for infants requiring cooling/warming support, line management, feeding assistance, and advanced respiratory therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a compassionate, family-centered approach in a fast-paced NICU setting
