Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). On-call and weekend coverage required. Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Highlights:

• Level III NICU experience in a 277-bed acute care hospital setting
• Care for neonates 27 weeks and above with a patient ratio of 1:3 during day shifts
• Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation in the OR and delivery rooms
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience required; 3 years preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be able to attend deliveries and perform neonatal admissions and resuscitation
• Experience with neonates 29-34 weeks, respiratory distress syndrome, umbilical line management, and advanced NICU procedures
• Proficiency in administration of blood products, central line blood draws, chest tube management, and developmental care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible at standard rates
