Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring 2 years of NICU experience and a compact or New Mexico RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery/NICU unit setting in a 199-bed hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Must be fingerprinted prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement, with documentation that the background check is being processed
• May begin work on a 14-day waiver while background check results are pending, provided the clinician is supervised

• Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Provide neonatal intensive care nursing within a Labor and Delivery unit
• Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, offering year-round sunshine and access to outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, and ATV trails
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
