**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in the NICU!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse – NICU - **Location:** Irving, TX - **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks - **Shift:** 7P - 7A - **Weekend Requirements:** Rotating - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week **Unit Highlights:** - **Type of Equipment:** - GE Bedside Monitors and GE Beds (Giraffe and Panda Warmers) - Natus Neoblue Phototherapy Lights - Neomed and Medfusion Feeding/Medication Pumps - **Documentation System:** Meditech and CPN - **Scheduling Requirements:** 3 – 12 hour night shifts - **Floating Policy:** As needed to nursery **Hiring Profile:** **Must Have:** - BLS Certification - NRP Certification - STABLE Certification - 2+ Years of Hospital/Specialty Experience - Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or Ventilation - Experience with Central Lines - Stabilization experience/attending deliveries - Developmental care expertise **Preferred Skills:** - Meditech experience is preferred **Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:** - **ACTIVE RN LICENSE** – Temporary licenses will not be accepted **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Assist with Line placement - Assist with Circumcision - Assist with Intubation **Patient Experience Required:** - Family centered care approach **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Royal Blue Medical City Healthcare Scrubs (Purchased from Scrubs and Beyond) - **Nail Policy:** Clean and Healthy, no nail polish, artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc. - **Hair:** Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors.
