Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level III NICU night shift position requiring a PA or compact RN license and 2 years of NICU experience.

Details

• >NICU unit at an acute care teaching hospital
• Level III NICU caring for 22+ week neonates without surgical or ECMO cases
• Patient population ranges from neonates less than 24-28 weeks to greater than 34 weeks
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Bryn Mawr Campus
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• >Active RN license (PA or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• 1:3 patient ratio experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in IV therapy, UAC/UVC management, and neonatal medication administration required
• Experience with respiratory support including CPAP, HFNC, and ventilator management required
• Experience with high-risk delivery attendance and NICU II-IV level care preferred
