Weekend: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period | Self-scheduling
Call: No
Charting: Epic
Requirements:
- 2+ years of NICU experience
- Level III NICU experience preferred
- Level IV experience preferred
- BLS required
- Advanced NRP required
- Epic experience required
- 1:2–4 NICU ratio experience
- Compact RN license must be active and in hand at submission
- Must be willing to float between units/sister facilities as required
Preferred NICU Skills:
- UAC/UVC management
- Ventilator, HFNC, Bubble CPAP & high-frequency ventilation
- Surfactants, nitric oxide & vasopressors
- Arterial/central line management
- Blood products
- Therapeutic hypothermia
- NEC, HIE, neonatal sepsis & respiratory distress
- Premature neonates, including <28-week infants
- Gavage/oral feedings & breast milk handling
- Post-op/surgical neonates
