Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
• Experience with Level III NICU care strongly preferred
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfort working night shifts and managing a 1:2 patient ratio
• Experience with preterm infants, high-risk deliveries, and advanced neonatal support preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care for critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III NICU
• Support high-risk deliveries and respond to neonatal emergencies as needed
• Monitor and manage infants requiring respiratory support, including HFNC, CPAP, ventilation, and related therapies
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary neonatal care team to deliver safe, coordinated patient care
• Assist with developmental care, feeding support, thermoregulation, phototherapy, and family education
• Float to Pediatrics and Mother/Baby when needed, with additional support to another NICU location as assigned
• Maintain a calm, compassionate, and proactive approach in a high-acuity neonatal environment
