Description

American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN with Level 1B special care nursery experience and MA licensure for a 13-week travel assignment requiring rotating day/night shifts.

Details

• Special Care Nursery unit caring for underweight babies, premature infants, and cardiac monitoring needs
• 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be willing to work both day and night shifts within the rotation
• Epic EMR experience required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Level 1B special care nursery experience required
• Prior experience in a special care nursery setting required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide proof of flu vaccination during flu season
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to premature and underweight infants including cardiac monitoring
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• Candidates may be required to complete pass/fail tele/ECG and medication testing depending on campus
• RTO and interview availability must be disclosed for consideration
