WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut.

Join our esteemed healthcare team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a NICU Travel Nurse in the vibrant city of Hartford, CT. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to our youngest patients in a 48-bed Level IV NICU. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
  • Administer medications and perform various medical procedures, including blood glucose monitoring, APGAR scoring, and ventilator management.
  • Support families through education and guidance on neonatal care and breastfeeding.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in rotational shifts, including day/night rotations and weekend coverage as per unit needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU settings with Level IV experience preferred.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
  • Valid state license or compact license.
  • Experience with travel nursing and adaptability to various clinical environments.
  • Proficiency in managing complex neonatal conditions such as prematurity, congenital heart disease, and respiratory distress syndrome.
