Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, Peds, and NBN units.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and provide ventilator management including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP.
• Administer IV therapy and medications such as vasopressors, steroids, and surfactants.
• Perform A-line management, central line/implanted line care, and manage UAC/UVC.
• Handle feedings and manage oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes.
• Address and manage Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
• Participate in a NICU-based float pool with floating to PICU, Peds, and NBN as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU Level III and PICU environment.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Ability to work every other weekend and meet holiday requirements as per unit needs.
• Must be willing to float and adapt to various patient care settings.
