Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care Transport – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: November 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required. No call required. May float to provide bedside nursing coverage in NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics units as needed.

Highlights:

• Specialized role supporting ground transportation for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients throughout the Seattle area
• Work collaboratively with respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers to deliver high-acuity transport care
• Transport infants and pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals, emergency departments, labor and delivery units, and NICUs to a higher level of care
• Utilize specialized transport equipment and critical care skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive orientation with 36-40 hours of training and Epic charting system experience
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year in NICU or PICU required
• Ground transportation experience required
• Charge nurse experience strongly preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line blood draws, IV vasopressors, chest tube management, and pediatric dosage calculations
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years
