Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $1,579 per week in Bakersfield, CA

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Yes Certifications: BLS, CA NMTL Must-Have: - At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine - Experience with cardiac studies, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying - Proficiency with EMR and PACS systems, specifically Radnet and Merge Unity - Familiarity with GE equipment Description: The department consists of one scanner room. The technologist may be required to float to a nearby facility if necessary. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is between 5 and 10. Call is required after 4:30 PM on weekdays and includes rotating weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities. Scrubs are provided, and the color is teal. There is a cancellation policy where the hospital can cancel shifts under specific conditions. No starting of IVs is required for this position. The department has an in-house radiologist available. Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized in this department.
