Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,106 per week in Jamaica, NY

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: - Duration: Temporary to Permanent Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Nuclear Medicine Technology License: Valid license and current registration to practice as a Radiologic Technologist, specializing in Nuclear Medicine. Certifications: Current certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) issued by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must-Have: Experience with IV injections required. Experience working with specific nuclear medicine equipment preferred. BLS certification preferred. Completion of appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist required. Description: Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Experience with IV injections is required. Familiarity with GE Omni and Infinia Hawkeye equipment is preferred. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred. Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist is required. Current certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine from the ARRT or NMTCB are mandatory. Candidates must hold a valid license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist, specializing in Nuclear Medicine. This position is temporary with the potential for conversion to a permanent role. Interviews will be conducted in person. Candidates must be interested in converting to a full-time position at the end of the engagement. Once converted, the employee may be required to be available for on-call duties. It is expected that the candidate will complete the full length of the engagement and convert to full-time employment.
