Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,352 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3-5 years preferred License: Not specified Certifications: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB required Must-Have: Proficiency in General Nuclear Medicine as well as PET Ability to float between Nuclear Medicine and PET as needed for direct patient care and indirect patient care Description: Position is temporary with an urgent start date. The technologist will be responsible for performing over 10 nuclear medicine procedures per day and 12-14 PET/CT procedures. Key procedures include whole body bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scans, DATSCAN brain scans, lymphoscans, parathyroid scans, and FDG PET scans. Familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment is essential. Work schedule includes weekday hours with one weekday evening shift and one weekend shift required each month. The call-back rate is minimal, with no significant call-backs noted in recent months. Candidates local to the site will not be considered for this position. Grey scrubs are required as the dress code.
