Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Med Tech Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required to work as a Nuclear Med Tech in West Virginia Certifications: BLS, Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine School, NMTCB Must-Have Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Description: Provides care to 13,000 patients each year and treats more than 50,000 patients in its emergency room. Accredited by the Joint Commission, the nationally recognized accrediting agency for healthcare facilities. Offers a wide range of surgical services including robotic surgery, orthopaedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, and trauma services. Serves a diverse patient population across all ages. Requires the ability to perform cardiac stress testing, venipuncture, and general nuclear medicine studies. Professional demeanor is required. Dress code includes black scrubs; unacceptable attire includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies.
