Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience, first-time travelers are welcome License: Valid license in hand required Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB, BLS, PET Must-Have: Experience in PET CT and nuclear medicine technology with Siemens equipment Experience preferred in charting systems Description: We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The position focuses on PET CT and nuclear medicine technology; nuclear cardiology exams are not performed in this department. Candidates must hold ARRT or NMTCB certification. Ability to handle various procedures, including three-phase studies, HIDA scans, and PET scans is required. Experience in starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood, and storing/handling radioactive materials is necessary. Interdisciplinary support will be available from other departments as needed. The technologist will be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs.
