Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; first-timers accepted License: Required Certifications: NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM) Must-Have: - Experience with HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying, brain death, myocardial perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scan, I-131 ablations (less than 30 mCi), renal scans with or without Lasix, parathyroid, and similar procedures. - Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS. Description: This position involves working with a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. The candidate will perform nuclear medicine procedures including but not limited to HIDA scans and myocardial perfusion SPECT. The role may require occasional call shifts during evenings and weekends. Compliance requirements must be fully met to ensure timely onboarding. Availability to work during major holidays is expected. Technologists must be registered with NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM). This position may require floating to other facilities for STAT inpatients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
