Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,587 per week in Columbus, GA

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers are accepted License: Required Certifications: NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM) Must-Have: - Experience with HIDA scans, Bone scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Gastric Emptying, Brain Death, Myocardial Perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 Whole body scan, I-131 Ablations (<30 mCi), and Renal scans with or without Lasix. - Proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and PACS. - Ability to perform procedures such as parental scans and EKGs preferred. Description: Schedule: Monday through Friday. Possible call as needed: Monday to Friday 16:00 - 22:00; Saturday and Sunday 08:00 - 22:00 (1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend). If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays happen during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the pushback is two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes clinical review and complies with guidelines, they will be sent for final decision. Travelers must finalize all time-off requests prior to submission. Maximum time-off is 7 days per contract. No time-off can be requested during orientation week.
