Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Indiana state license required Certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB required Must-Have: First timers accepted Community hospital experience required Charting experience with Cerner required Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Description: Position for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Shift is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications must include BLS and either CNMT or NMTCB. An Indiana license is required prior to start. Candidates may float to meet facility needs. Open to discussing block scheduling. Local candidates are accepted. Pending state licenses will not be accepted; candidates must have their license and required certifications in hand. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Hours guaranteed include both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours in one workweek. Unit serves adult and geriatric patients. Experience in a community hospital setting is required. Primary charting system used is Cerner. Special procedures include various nuclear imaging techniques. Candidates must float within the hospital or nearby affiliates as needed. Required skills include performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures.
