Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB)
Must-Have:
Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine technology obtained through completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program or equivalent.
Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with potential variations within 7 AM to 5 PM.
Availability for on-call rotation during weekends and holidays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Description:
This position involves conducting various nuclear medicine procedures.
The candidate should be proficient in using advanced imaging equipment.
Knowledge of patient safety protocols and handling of radioactive materials is essential.
Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.
Skills in performing specific tests such as HIDA Scan, MUGA Scan, and PET Scan are required.
The role may involve starting and maintaining IVs and ensuring appropriate isolation precautions.
Additional responsibilities may include working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
The candidate should possess strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic shifts and on-call requirements is necessary.
