Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 09:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, ARRT N*, ARRT R*, NMTCB (or ARRT N) Must-Have: - Experience performing PET scans preferred, but willing to train on site. - No first-time travelers considered; must have at least 2 years of experience. - No weekend or holiday shifts required. - Availability for call shifts if interested. Description: The clinician will be expected to perform PET scans. Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided on site. Orientation will likely consist of shifts from 08:00 to 16:30 for the first two weeks. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, totaling five 8-hour shifts, with no weekends or holidays. An opportunity to take call shifts is available, but it is not required. Call shifts would be from 04:30 to 22:00 on weekdays, and from 06:00 to 22:00 on weekends, requiring a 60-minute response time. All travelers will be expected to float between similar units as needed. Travelers refusing to float may risk termination of assignment and/or loss of guaranteed hours. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 426 staffed beds. The environment includes adult and geriatric patient age groups. Daily census is estimated to be between 5 and 10 patients. Two references covering one year within the last three years are required. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates must disclose any license or background hits prior to submission. Completion of additional compliance modules is expected before start.
