Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,806 per week in Towson, MD

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: State license required Certifications: ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with Epic charting system preferred - Strong skills and experience required Description: This position requires performing nuclear medicine procedures. Responsibilities include conducting nuclear stress tests and various scans. The work involves high scan load for both outpatient and inpatient services. Special procedures include HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The technologist will utilize GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850. Black scrubs are required for attire. There is a requirement for holiday and weekend on-call coverage. Weekend on-call will be required every other weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. Weekday on-call coverage is also required twice per week from 4 PM to 10 PM. Floating within the specialty and related areas is expected. Candidates must be able to start and maintain IVs and handle radioactive materials safely. Flexibility and adaptability to schedule changes are necessary.
